Cash-Based Practice

Expert Athletes is a cash-based practice, which means we do not accept insurances. At Expert Athletes we want to work 1 on 1 with our athletes, make individualized programs, and gear our services to you as an individual so you achieve your goals. Unfortunately, insurance companies dictate what we can and cannot do as providers; or in some cases require approval. To provide the best care, come up with a plan that suits you best and execute, we will be an out of network provider. 

Here are a few advantages of cash-based practices: 

- Quality of Care 

Providers who accept insurances are overwhelmed with their patient load, so you may leave feeling unseen and unheard. At Expert Athletes, we guarantee you will spend 100% of your visit with our athletic trainer. The care will be based on what you need to achieve your goals with assistance during the entirety of your visit with us. There will never be a time that we book someone at the same time as you to ensure you are given 1 on 1, quality care.   

- Cost 

Out of network care may seem more expensive, however cost of using your insurance can be high due to premiums, deductibles, copays, services, medications, and other costs that are not covered. At a cash-based practice you are paying for the services that you sign up for. There are no hidden costs or fees that get tacked on later. 

-Freedom and Flexibility

Often approval is needed before receiving certain treatments or additional visits even though it is in your best interest. The person giving approval most likely does not have the knowledge of the treatment, therefore you could be denied that service. At Expert Athletes, we will be able to give you the services you need and deserve without approval. We can determine a treatment that will benefit you and perform it the same day. 

-Preventative Care 

This type of care is often not covered by your insurance. We think this is the most important care! Not only will it save you money long term, but you will stay healthy and on in the compeition. We are dedicated to injury prevention so that you can become an expert without getting sidelined from injuries. 

We guarantee you will be receiving the best care, without anyone else dictating the details of your care. The benefit of using Expert Athletes supersedes using your insurance and going through the steps to get care. We understand the benefits of insurance but save that for the emergencies and come see us for your athletic needs.
